Clear skies over most of the country and the easiest weather to travel in. Peak season, so stays book early.
The plains turn hot and the mountains come into their own. High passes open and the valleys are at their best.
The monsoon turns the west coast and the hills a deep green, and rates drop. Ladakh stays dry through it.
A few places keep their own calendar, so they work when the rest of the country does not.

Ask Us AnythingSeven to ten nights is the honest minimum for one region. India rewards depth over distance, so we would rather give you three places properly than six in a blur. If you only have four or five nights, we build around a single base.
Often, yes — Rajasthan with the Golden Triangle, or Kerala with Tamil Nadu, work well because the flights and roads line up. North to far south in a week does not. We will tell you plainly when a combination costs you more days than it is worth.
It is quoted against your dates, hotel category and group size, because those three change the number far more than the destination does. Every quote lists what is included in full, and the quote is the price.
Yes. Parts of Ladakh, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and the Andamans need inner-line or protected-area permits. Our own desk files them, and we build the lead time into the plan so nothing is left to the last week.
Everything on this page is private by default — your own car, driver and guide, on your dates. If you would rather travel with a group, our groups desk runs escorted departures across the same routes.
